I know this is in pneumatic, but its a short question and I didn't want to start a thread just for a few words. Is it possible to make an airsoft gun diesel? Not for shooting at other players, but for the hell of it?

Not really an answer, but thanks for the link. I guess I should of said, is an airsoft gun strong enough to diesel?

I don't think an airsoft gun generates enough pressure to diesel. I'm trying it with my brother's pellet gun when he gets home :D

I may build a gun specifically designed to diesel. It might produce amazing results with nitro-methane RC car fuel as the dieseling product.

An airsoft gun won't, a cheap springer air rifle (like you lucky americans can buy over the counter) will easily. But they don't last long.

Hi
I was looking for a paintball regulator, I found 2
one is regulated to 400 psi, one is regulated to 800 psi.
I know they can“t go lower than the minim pressure, but can the 400 psi one be re-regulated to 800?

Have re-ranged my Ninja reg a couple times...it's easy once you know how...and have the parts...and a test rig (ebay).

Have a pic? Might be able to help.

Fyi, That fuel is not diesel fuel. Don't use it in a RC diesel engine. That is glow engine fuel. It requires both the glow of the glow plug and compression for ignition. Due to the rate of burn of the mix, the oil component is used for lubrication only and exits the engine unburnt. The mix is typically 5-10% Nitro-Methane with the remainder Methyl Alcohol fuel and Castor oil for lubricant. Hot mixes go up to about 25% Nitro.
