After a terrible suspense...
It was not easy to fit all the material in a 15mn long video and still keeping all the significant machining steps for JSR enlightenment :D

Glad you like it, I try to do my best. And I am also crossing fingers that I will not make a fool :joker: of myself, right in front of the camera with a shiny pen that doesn't shoot, nor write

If it does not shoot, at least it makes a great novelty and proves you can make stuff, you just miscalculated a little bit.

LeMaudit, have a little faith in your workmanship. You have JSR and myself backing you on this project.

Actually you can put an ink pen refill in it and use it as a projectile or a writing device. Just do not try to retract the the pen refill. :D

LeMaudit,

Functional or not, your efforts to show Spudfiles members procedures in machining is great. Keep up the good work. :)

Nicely done!

You know it's a good video when I made a mental note to ask you about how you figured the angle when you turned the head and it was answered some seconds later :D

:D I do my best to try to keep the interest high for this TV show... it's a long season!
I'm glad you enjoy it, I have lots of fun doing it.

[Don't miss the next episode: Dimply will meet Rod, who is half brother of the neighbor's sister...]

[edit]
This is one of the first long youtube video's I have fully watched
I'm truly honored. Thanks guys!
to ask you about how you figured the angle
For a extra precise angle, you could check it by trigonometry, just figuring the transversal difference when the point touch the rod, for a given longitudinal movement.
