The coiled hose is steel braided? The Black hose.

are you talking about black hose that connects the CAP to the bottle of paint ball that you see on the video?
It is a flexible "Manba" that are used in paintball and is also resistant to high pressure

Do you mean suggestions for a stock? I think wood would be great for this gun!

that's my biggest problem the design of wooden stocks ...

A lot of artist tend to use cardboard to make prototypes of their projects and when they are happy they then use the project material. Takes a little more time to build templetes first, but that in turn gives you practice for what your doing.

For fun and transporting I cut the barrel, as I have a big gun and a gun!
top alignment is no problem of accuracy
