Actualy, I don't see either one (Combustion vs Pneumatic) as being any more dangerous than the other if engineered / constructed properly and operated within the design limitations.

archie-- your "opinion", while it is your own.... is founded upon facts that are simply wrong. as people have stated multiple times, too much fuel will lead to nothing happening... fuel needs to be at a very precise percentage of the chamber volume in order to ignite.
I suggest you do some reading on the wiki and around the forums and you'll find that pneumatics and combustions both can be dangerous... especially when people like you build guns based on little prior knowledge.
