Very nice work, good to see more combustions. But there's one thing I'm not sure about. How do you disconnect the hose when you open the camlock? The picture shows what I mean.

The cannon is not finished yet :-)

On the to do list is a bracket for easy removal of the tank, and a coupling on the hose.
And im gonna use a HANSEN couppling on the hose for easy removal.

One like this, wich is airtight in both ends

edit:
and i also plan to make a quick connect silencer... this baby is loud :-)

The evil laughter says it all, you can almost hear a child going "Daddy, my tractor! Why?!" in the background :)

Great job, I predict a hybrid soon hehe

Thats a really clean cannon. Very well done. It sounds like you have ideas for a custom design at some point.

hmmmm... having a problem with my igniter from ultimatespudgun.

i have fired about 50 rounds with the cannon, and it suddently stopped working. i have changed the battery, and checked that there is no potato shortsircut at the spark gap.

i have led diodes lighting up when the ignition is armed, and they drop a little in power when i try to fire. so therefore i assume that the unit is getting/drawing power :-)

any suggestions ??

Is it making any noise at all?

Hmmm... could you have burnt it out?

Probably fried it, but check your wiring first.
I would think that, contrary to popular belief, stunguns are not really a durable solution for combustions. They're designed to put out a lot of power for a short time without much thought to being overbuilt.

Presumably if you burn out a stungun using it for what it's intended for, you're probably having a very, very bad day. The manufacturers don't worry about this because these types of people rarely get a chance to file a lawsuit.

cant really understand if its fried...

is makes 2-3 sparks every time i fire.. and i have never made sparks for fun :-(

Guess ill have to do the crappy job of dismantle it from the chamber and see if i can se anything wrong.

More parts done, now the cannon is nearly done :-)

Cutting out the aluminium brackets for the gas tank holder

Nearly done, now im cutting out the rest with a band saw

Test mount with the polished brackets, not sure i like the polished finish, think I will give them a layer of paint.

Now ill take the cannon apart, and give it all a last layer of paint, a lot of scratches after testing gear during the build and test shooting, and mount the MAP gas :D

Very nice cannon and very clean work. I am impressed to say the least. If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the chamber and or chamber material from??

As described earlier in this thread, most of the pvc comes from utlimatespudgun, only reason for that, its not possible to get these PVC parts in Norway (i searched for 3 weeks)
This is my first spudgun, so when i had to order parts online anyways, i ordered them from ultimate, and got it all right the first time , instead of another random pvc supplyer, with trying and failing :-)
