I have 2005 1500 SLT 4x4 quad cab hemi, 170,000 kms. Three major things have gone wrong with it, valve in the tranny went (covered by warranty) no further instances, windsheild wiper arm fell off mechanism (common for dodge trucks), serrpentine belt just went because an idler arm pulley failed. $130 in parts and 25 mins to fix myself. The only other maintenance I have done is the brakes pads with new rotors all the waty around. And tires, omg the 20 inch tires have come down considerably but if you get the chance look for 17 inchers.

Other than that I am very happy with it, BTW mine is silver.

Looks like we have a similar vehicle :) I have 20 inch tires on it already with chrome rims so I'll be keeping those, plus a set of 17 inch winter tyres on steel rims.

My only complaint so far is the lack of AUX jack on the stock radio but so far I have to say driving around the leafy suburbs of Quebec City with classical music or easy French listening on the radio has been very therapeutic :)

Nothing like an orchestral Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 for cruising your trap, yo.

Not before my lathe chuck is spinning :) but yeah, this is brilliant... not knowing the difference between work and play :D

I will post some more photos as things progress... who knows, with enough encouragement we might be able to set up a Spudfiles kibbutz in the Canadian wilderness...

edit: see, Canadians are always happy!

One thing that Quebec certainly does well is ribs...

Ahh....no.

The cook that sent that out should be beaten severely...as should the waitress that allowed that mess to make it to the table. Some folks take no pride in what they do. :roll:

Should look more like this;

Poutine IS something Quebec does DAMN well though. :)
