LOL MrC, the wonders of live TV
Looks
just like me when I wake up on the morning!
Same mood, same haircut...
And with a reporter in my garden I would most certainly react just the same

How about supporting neither Israel nor Palestine?

I agree; I've had it with society. (but I'm not going to kill people over it.)

Cool hack, but if all it can do is burst balloons and light matches I don't quite see the point.
Could you have three or more and have them harmonised to converge on a single spot? In any case, burning though stuff doesn't hold the same appeal as using pure kinetic energy...

You could get a bunch of them to converge, but you wouldn't gain a whole lot in terms of impressiveness. Pulsed LASERs take a bit more effort, but can achieve reasonably good performance with a backpack sized cap bank and charging rig+. I'd say that (near) instantly inducing small explosions on a target from range is
more appealing than using kinetic energy
+: full build may cost upwards of $10k

Lack of ballistic drop noted, but as cool as
this? I don't know...

I guess that would depend upon just how much energy one could coax out of a handheld pulsed laser. Looking at the front face of the target during the impact of, say, a 100J light burst would make for very impressive video. Laser or otherwise though, one of these cameras is definitely on my long-term shopping list
