Fittings

I may have gotten the wrong ones for making my new chamber. They all saw NSF-DWV. So is this safe or unsafe. These are Genova fittings by the way. I just went to the local hardware store. The plumbing store is closed on the weekends. So will lowes have the right ones?

MoogleBass...When making a pneumatic that is holding pressure from 50-150psi always, and I mean always use atleast Sch40 nsf-pw fittings and pipe. Sometimes the pipe may be pressure rated and still have DWV on it, but the key words you need to look for are 'NSF-PW' and the pressure rating usually printed like 'XXXPSI @ 73F'
There are many different companys that make pressure rated PVC fittings, I don't live in America and I have never been to Lowes, so I don't know what the common brand is, but if they make DWV parts chances are they make pressure rated ones too.

acdcmonkey1991 I deleted your post because it was stupid, badly structured and partialy wrong. The OP just wanted a simple answer, there's no need to be saying 'WOW WOW WOW WOW NEVER USE DWV!!!' and then say only use Sch80 fittings.

Yeah the pipe i have has the psi on it, just the fittings. Not the first time ive built one, but im upgrading the chamber size. So ill return what i got to day and go to lowes.

The fittings, are they going to be used in a combustion or air?

Air. Im changing my chamber from 1.5 to 3 inch.
