can anyone post a simple piston valve gun how to

this is mine from a while ago, it still works prefectly. its incredible powerful. i can shoot through 10 soda cans with no problem. im sure it would go through more but 10 is the most ive tryed.

the piston is just a 3/4'' end cap with some duct tape around it. its very simple and very effective.

You have no idea how many piston valve topics there are on this website. I will not lock this thread just incase you have any questions relating to piston valves, ask them here.

i did search i make phneumatics with sprinkler valves not pistons this is the first time ive asked for a simple how to its not a bib deal i want to make a small one that is able to be disguised as a cane im not sure what it will fire maybe a paintball but still i dont know how long it will hold its air its just something to try to do and i dont think a sprinkler valve will look like a kane very much so i decide to look in to a piston valve gun

1. It's 'pneumatic'
2. I don't care how many times you have asked, what I do care about is how many times people ask me, which is an ever-growing number.
3. Soif you searched for 'pneumatics with sprinkler valves' why didn't you search for piston valves?
4. Disguising a pneumatic gun as a cane is probably illegal.
5. Help yourself before we help you. If you're willing to put in some of your own time helping yourself, I will be more then happy to help you.
Obviously you haven't put much time in at all, so i'm not going to spoon feed you.

how many times do i have to tell you i did look who care if its illegal where im from all potato guns are illegal any way i didnt asked to be spoon fed u didnt have to answer to this all u had to do is not reply someone befor u was more than happy to help so if u dont want to help then dont reply it makes me no diffrence

I know you told me you looked, but since there are twice as many topics asking how piston valves work(like yours) then there are actually about piston valves, you must not of searched very well at all. If you just search 'piston' you will get 700 results, so you start narrowing it down from there, please when on the spudfiles forums, use your common sense.

I am a moderator(one of several) of spudfiles, its my job to keep this website clean, professional looking, organised and legit.
When us mods have to deal with loads of topics like this one where the OP puts in almost no effort we have to sort it out.

I'm against locking topics like this incase when/if you search piston valves, and you have a question about them you can ask them in this topic.

The person before me may of been in a helping mood and doesn't have to deal with stuff like this everyday constantly, its up to the member if they want to help or not, but its my job to help out new members so they know the rules and don't get into trouble with other mods by breaking rules/posting procedures.

I do want to help, I really do. We have 4000 members not including probably 5000 that have been removed from the database, if everyone of them asks how piston valves work you'll see my point, you're not the only one that asks this same very question. I could search now and give you 15 results in the first page that would help you.

If you're asking others to give you links to piston valve topics, how do you think they found them? They just didn't appear you know, they also searched. So if they can be bothered searching for you, why can't you be bothered helping yourself out?

First off, I'd really appreciate it if you used at least somewhat proper grammar and spelling. I had to read your run-on post several times to completely understand it. After all, this isn't texting, this is a forum.
Secondly, MrCrowly's right. Please don't make senseless posts. I know the search engine isn't the easiest solution, but trust me, it's more practical than making new posts and getting yelled at.

You can scale it down to fit your cane (which I'm pretty sure is spelled with a "c" by the way) gun. I'm not sure you need to glue the back plug on, but you get the picture. If you need help understanding it, don't start a new topic, just look at some completed valves and learn how it works.

EDIT: By the way, for all those moderators out there, perhaps it's time to make a sticky on "how to make piston valves." Also, the video says it's a chamber sealing valve sometime, but it's really a barrel sealing valve.
