Schweizer-Valve Gun

Hi,
Some of you can maybe remember I built the Schweizer-Valve. I posted some damage pics with frozen eggs and trees, and that was pretty much it. I never got around to complete the gun with a nice trigger and a barrel that doesn´t blow off.
Anyway, it´s nice enough for its purpose, which is: Neutralizing milk cartons with water, and sending golf balls so far over the sea that you almost can´t see where they land...
Here are some pictures from my shooting with it (and a few other things):

The next thing the gun needs is a truly powerful trigger. I´m not quite satisfied with the RainBird; performance goes down when I have a hose on the blowgun. The DSTV is pull-cord; not ideal for a shoulder launched gun. So I´m building a mini DFTV now, just for triggering the common barrel sealing piston valve of the gun. If that works out ok, I will use it on a 75 mm gun, and then build a full-size 1-valve 50 mm DFTV gun. I have found a combination of common parts that can just be glued together; no nuts and bolts, and no home made pistons required.
I have no picture of the best shot: The 50 mm gun blew quite some bark, and a 1" thick chip of wood off a tree a couple of days after I took the photos - with a potato.
Pumping 10 bar with a bike pump is tough; I have wrecked 2 pumps so far, and blown the hose on the 3rd. I follow this home made high pressure pump talk with some interest...
Regards
Soren
