Hey guys,

I'm building my pellet gun at the momment. I'm about to get a gun style aluminium blowgun but I have found a problem... I want to connect the blowgun to the T via the nozzle but the thread is different.

Whats the best way to fix this problem?

Thanks alot.

I have one like that too, so what I did was JB weld a 1/8"brass pipe nipple into it.
I suppose more flow could be done by using a larger pipe nipple epoxied on the outside

Thats a top idea mate. Thanks alot for that. I'll have to measure it but I reckon I should be able to JB a 1/2in nipple over the outside of it. If I can, it will be unreal because everything on this BB gun will be 1/2in.

Thanks again

Nice, I can't wait to see it, I really like these blow guns, and using a 1/2" nipple is a better idea because it would be more supporting, I have had 1/8" pipe snap in 2

I just hope that epoxy can hold 300+ psi.....hmmm.... If only I could find an aluminium nipple and solder it straight on....would be so much stronger.

Mitchza89 I just read your other post on the thread "question about blowgun valve". Are you intending to connect your blow gun backwards at over 300psi? Cause if so, it wont work at that pressure connected backwards. When it gets above 90-100 psi it will just leak down to 90-100 psi. I have tried it before and it doesn't work backwards, it really sucks because the gun im working on would look wicked if the blowgun would hold more pressure.

Ah buggery... That really really sucks... I might just make a ball valve trigger then. Either that or run some high pressure hose from the back of the gun into the piston valve.

Sorry to double post but I had to. Shud_b_rite, you said you cannot attatch a blowgun backwards at more then 100 psi.....but what about Meklor's Marble Rifle? He has his backwards and it works perfectly.
