Pressure Gauges

N00bish question I know but seeing as search didnt help me at all I was wondering if you more experienced members could help me. I want to know how to fit a pressure gauge onto my pneumatic.

Either tap a hole for it, (which I don't know how to do), or get a reducing bushing to 1/2", and buy a brass fitting that goes from 1/2" to whatever o.d. the threaded part of your gauge is. The ones I buy are 1/4".

Tap a 1/4 BSP hole or get some reducers into a Tee to add a gauge,simple

tap a hole, cover threads with teflon tape. add a metal nut on the inside of the chamber for safety. A couple of rubber o-rings or washers wont hurt either. that's how i do my sprinkler valve mods too.

holy crap you really go all out if you have enough room to put a nut on the end then it means that your not puting it through two layers of pvc.

that would depend on the Pressure guage . I usualy mount it on an endcap in the center. wich makes a lot of sense. its a whole lot easier than drilling into a horizontal piece of pipe. On those home depot jobbies theres plenty of room left over for a couple of o rings and a steel nut Wich by the way is a VERY good idea "cause if that sucker was to let go at say...100psi? I'm sorry, hand threaded plastic makes a great seal. But for safety?..why not go it one better?
