Using an emergency shutoff valve for a checkvalve

I was planning on using one of those in place of my ghetto checkvalve idea for this project here....

I would do this because there is a problem that dongfang brought up in his post, which is right above my last one... And, I also explain a bit more on my last post too.

But anyways, I was hoping that this cool valve would prevent the my whole reserve chamber from bleeding at once... What do you guys think?
