well this is the silencer for the MBMR. I use it on the shorty barrel because it needed it the most and on the 29"er it sagged so i have to make a bipod.

It was the the 14.5 extenstion tip, but i swiss cheesed it and sleeved it into 1.5" and then 2" pvc.

the layer between the ploy and 1.5" is fine steel wool and the 1.5 to 2 is real wool from my mums shop.
The threaded end is a 3/4 poly and is housed inside the 2" pvc and then its coated in epoxy, the tip is separated by an ice cream lid cut to fit and then covered in epoxy.

It takes the sound right down from a loud honk to a tiny little puut at 100psi so Im cheering about that.

Any chance of a with/without video?

I do like that,looks nice...Ohh and the gun is nice aswell .Silencer does look good on it,could we get a video with and without the silencer to see the difference or more hear the difference.

my only comment, is that the silencer seems on the HUGE size for such a tiny barrel... it looks almost longer than the barrel.

It's actually not that big, probably could be bigger, I forgot the exact ratio but the silencer is supposed to have around the same volume as the barrel or chamber....

Yes it could have been a bit bigger, JSR recommends that it be the same volume as the chamber or more. But for me that wasn't practical.
I wanted 2.5" pipe but the shop was clean out so I settled for 2". Having said that, a lot of weight at the end of the long barrel tends to bend it a bit, so this was a good compromise. It weighs 600grms and only puts a slight bend in the long barrel, however I really only use it on the short one, it looks cooler

Judging by the video and the sound your gun made without the silencer, your barrel is really far too short

I could've of told you that just looking at the pics, but that weird 'whoop' sound probably means the projectile leaves the barrel too quickly and leaves a bunch of air behind.

thats not the only barrel. Thats the short one, the other barrel is 30" long so the suppressor bends it slightly. the suppressor was made for the short barrel.

Ah well that's all good then.
