Here it is. I could not find a barrel fo fit a gold ball anywhere (had not found this site yet) so I was in the garage one night and the wife puts a golf ball in one of my fishing "sand spikes" and it fit purrrrfect. Ok now I had to find where the pipe sand spikes are make of come from.

Well after looking around and no lucj I bought two more sand spikes both 24" long cut them up and taped them togother than splattered tem with silocone and slid it down a SCH40 pipe and let it dry for two days.

Installed a 1" electric sprinkler valve and a 24" X 4" chamber and wa-la the golf ball launcher was is born!

The thing is reallly impressive for a 4 foor barrel, I lose site of the golf balls in the air at 80 psi.

Commimg soon now that I got some 6Ft Golf ball size pipe, a massive golf ball gun!

Nice! You should try modding the sprinkler valve though for better performance. Get some paint on that gun! (Black) That thing is a beast! Super nice gun once you consider that your a noob.

I'd like to try a modded valve but I can not find one locally that does not have the guide rod in it.

I just got a 3/4" QEV that I'll try on the next gun.

that valve looks just like mine

all you have to do to mod it is thak out the guide rod bend it in to a "L" on one end and then put it through the hole in the diaphram and bund the other end. :D :D

You can mod a guide rod sprinkler valve. You dont drill down the center, you do it towards the side.

I've yet to build a golf ball gun,how far will it shoot one ,I'm sure they will travel a lot farther than tennis balls.

golf balls are easy to crank out there, deffently go way farther then tennis balls

way cool cannon, good thinking on comeing up with the barrel
