pics please!! It would help alot more, i know how it feels though i messed up on 2 guns b4 i got a working one. Ok make sure your piston is air tight because you air might just be flowing around the piston. I would definitely recommend that you use something different that mouse bad because it is somewhat porous. Mouse pad would actually be a suitable bumper. Why not try tire inner tube it is much better for a sealant. It is what i used for my sealant and works well. Just buy one inner tube for 15 bucks and you can use it for many projects. It looks something like this
Also what kind of grease are you using as a lubricant? White lithium grease works well and i also used it on my current working gun.

Is the mouse pad glued or bolted to your piston? Aren't most mouse pads made out of porus rubber?

I think so but since its porous i wouldnt recommend it for a sealing face.

You could also use neoprene which is a really well working sealant face. That is if you dont mind taking a trip to the hardware store

Eh, I can never found neoprene at hardware stores. Nobody knew what it was or where it was (they though it was a paint brand or something.) I too have went the way of the bicycle tube, and it works great. Seals like a charm, is available, and is easy to work with. I looked at mouse pads, and most of the ones today are porous and don't seal at all.
LikimysCrotchus5, what type of tube is that right there? I've never seen one of those before...

You mean the pic? its a inner tube, except for a tire. This is what i used on my piston and it works great too.
And good for you!! you finally got it to work. Could you post a link to your cannon as for i am feeling extreeeemly lazy and dont want to search

Thx
