I like the trigger. Also, that is a pretty clean primer job...looks like you took your time. I would suggest modding the valve, but someone else well.

Nice Job.

Looks good.Your chamber seems to be massive overkill.I would lose the large diameter tank.(or trim it down) Also, I think it would be a good idea to modify the valve. I know its scary at first, but it really is easy.

And it took all of four minutes

hey thats a pretty nifty gun there looks nice and must be fun to shoot yea like hubb said modding it would increase performance by a bunch, but overall nice gun:D i have one question though how come u have those 3 couplers down there?

predictable eh? well, i just hate messing about with unnecessary electronics.

i was thinkin about modding it but i decided for my first i would make it relatively simple, plus i like the idea of having a safety switch cuz i don't wanna shoot nobody with a nail, that would be bad, there is one thing though it sorta honks a little, if i use a round that fills up the barrel all the way, i only hear the pffthmp, but if it's not a perfect fit it honks alot

@Eddbot: Have you checked out the sticky about Sprinkler Valve Troubleshooting? It may answer your honking question.

You may as well go ahead and mod the sprinkler valve. You can upgrade this one. Why not? It's your first and you should be proud.

As far as the upgrades, you may can incorporate something similar to this:

This is not my design. I found it on this sight and thought it was neat.

Of course, as far as safety is concerned, a ball valve can be placed in between the valve and the handle to keep it from firing when you don't want it to.

Anyway, good luck with it.

One suggestion, when you plan on double sleaving the pvc to make it look nicer, just mark it off with a sharpie and cut it, before glueing so it'll all fit perfectly. There's a bunch of gaps in between the couplings and it causes the gun to bend weirdly. The gun looks awesome but it looks a little awkward because the lack of time you spent double sleaving it. Whats the trigger for? I dont spend any time in the pneumatics section but i do know that ive never seen a trigger on one like the one you have here. Nice gun though man. Sorry for nitpicking.

When you mark it, cut it a little short, as the PVC probably will not slide completely into the coupling without the glue. Another option would be to hollow out the couplings and glue them over a solid piece of pipe. This way will add more strength and stability, but will be much more time consuming.
