I need 2 O-Rings to Fit in a Grove i am going to cut into some SCh40- PVC.

It wont be very deep. .125

And it will be sheilding by a T fitting when it is being fired.

So im guessing 2-1/4 ID and just slightly larger then the OD of 2" sch 40? which is 2.375... so do i go with 2-3/8s and just lube them to swell slightly? or go to 2.5" which i dont believe will slide very good in this fitting.

But where do you go to buy just a few Large o-rings i found 1 place but they wanted me to order 50!!! at like $1.25 EACH!

my uncle once told me that at the metal fabrication plant where he used to work they had o-rings big enough to wear as necklaces. maybe you should go to a local metal work place and ask them about them im sure they would part with one for a few dollars. :)

my local plumbing store sells large o-rings so you should have a look at stores in your area.
