This is my first sprinkler valve pneumatic.

I have not Modded the sprinkler valve because i do not have a 1/2" drill bit and even if i did my Drill can't fit a bit that big. The barrel isn't as long as i would like it to be because i ran out of PVC pipe and I will hopefully upload damage pictures when its done. (Theres some metal in it because they didn't have the correct reducer)

Finished the modification today!:
Image This thing is way more powerful than my ball valves, i was amazed at the difference in power that the sprinkler valve made

Looks pretty good to me. A Paint job is probably all it needs. What are you using to fill? and via what? schrader? QD?

And is that cap at the end of the chamber pressure rated?

um, what do you suggest this is my first actual pneumatic, i believe ball valves don't classify as "real" pneumatics

well since its a 3/4 i believe, paintballs, marbles, home made nail darts (Duct tape taped around a nail until it fits nicely down the barrel) and anything that fits down the barrel.

He is only saying that because its his opinion, not that it really isnt a pneumatic.

@Trooper: Once you obtain a bit of adequate size, drill a pilot hole first. Then place the larger bit in the pilot hole and work it in with a pair of pliers. That's what I did with mine and it worked perfectly.

good job man on your first pneumatic im wonderin what that whole cap configuration is on the back. heres how to mod it man this is how i did ti without 1/2 bit. draw a circle a little smaller than one half then take the largest drill bit you have an drill in the middle. after that dremel it to the out side of the circle and then just put it all toghether. you dont have to dremmel. just sand it down with your hand and sandpaper. also some companie make drill bits that get smaller at the butt of the bit (where you put it in.) try to find that kind of bit first.

maniac... this is my first SPRINKLER pneumatic i have two ball valves (heres one http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/pneumat ... 11564.html)
Oh and good idea on the sanding part didn't think of that. I found one of those drill hole sanders in my garage that should work nicely. Also, my tubing on the barbs doesn't go all the way, only halfway, but i even tried to pull it off by hand and it wouldn't budge.

Its not your first pneumatic but it is your first REAL, full-sized and aquadate-valve-triggered pneumatic.
Keep up the good work and step it up to piston on your next gun. :)
