Theoretical Turret Mount To Go-Kart

Plain and simple, I am not giving advice to anyone as I haven't produced this for myself yet so I can't say how it will turn out. However, I still believe that my theory will make for hours of great fun.

I intend to build myself a 2 Seater Go-Kart, however I need to make this more fun so I decided I need to add a pneumatic potato rockets. Im not sure of the legalities of this either so I may not actually make it unless I found out I can.

This is the basics of it:

The rotation system, like some tanks in the world wars is similar to a manual screw driver.

The Vertical aim is just a case of pushing the arm up and down.

This is all on a swivel.

If I actually make this I'll report on success and failures ASAP.

If you wish to risk it develop on my idea. (Probly been done times before but I wanted to re hash it). Anyone does it you can email me on chris_overlord@hotmail.com

Sorry if this was useless to you.[/quote]

Sounds like fun...and potato guns are legal in the US. So are go-carts, as long as you don't take them on any roadway.

As far as your design, a lot of this has been done, mainly for paintball. Here is a link with tank tips that you may can incorporate into your design.

Good luck and be sure to show us pics.

And Welcome to Spudfiles. If you need any help, be sure to search the wiki and site first, then ask us.
