As a true indication of how many members are truly "active" i thought it would be interesting to see if we could break the 399 members online for 31/1/ 2006. To be broken New Years eve 2007.

Is anyone interested? I will be logged in, i hope that a trend will follow.

The other day, I tried to log on and it would not let me onto the site. It had 59 members at that time.

But, yeah, I'll try.

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote

I don't think you can even log in now when the # of users online exceeds a certain number, and that's well below 300. But it must have happened before, so it should be doable in some way. We'll have to ask PCGUY about that.

Yea, I can just leave it logged in even if I'm not there. How did they manage to get that many people on here in the first place, was there some sort of event going on?

Yea, that's a good question. I turn my comp off every night so I would assume it doesn't show me online until I visit the site and it logs me in, but I do wonder...

Woohoo it's like a ddos attack, redneck-style :D

I think the user counter will only show your name if you've sent data to the server within the last x # of minutes, so leaving the browser open all day might not work.

I've gotten the "max users connected" error before, but it didn't seem like there where that many people online at the time so it might have been for another reason.

Also, everyone has to send a random PM to jack that day :)
