Does my new piston look ok? it is a piece of wood dowel with some electrical tape around it and a rubber eraser/duct tape sealing face.
Want to make sure its ok before i put it in my new gun!

Good, Have you tested it yet? What size pipe does it fit into? I need Specs!

its kinda looks like a dowel wrapped in electrical tape with a piece of rubber glues onto it. not the most attractive piston, as im sure you are aware, but it will work.

I would suggest getting a larger size dowel and sanding it down to the perfect size to avoid using electrical tape for a buffer. But if i were you, i'd just do that on the next one, this one is already finished and it looks great.
But you might have problems with the duct tape sealing, maybe try a piece of rubber if it doesn't.
Good Job

i agree wit isomer. get a new seal face, cut some off of an inner tube of a bike. the piston is ok as it is though. i dont think duct tape will seal well.

Yeah i'm not sure about the duct tape as a sealing face. Just glue some rubber on it.

Also you should lube it up, apart from that it looks OK.

the duct tape is off now its just the rubber eraser as the sealing face.
