this is my new piston gun.Its called a "naval" gun becase it kinda reminds me of a gun that would be mounted on a battleship.
The piston is a 1 inch cap slightly sanded down and has a neoprene washer for a sealing face and it works perectly.
The camber is 1.5 inch sch 40 pvc with a 1.5 inch ballvalve for a pilot and it usees a shcrader as a fill valve.
Barrel is 1/2 inch pvc and ther is an old rag as a bumber.
Tis gun has power! and seals perfectly! the only thing to complain about is that the bumber comes put some times but oh well.
more damage coming soon!

idk what the sights are but they work oh and the dwv is fine its just to direct pilot exhaust so there is never any pressure on it.
And there is damage pics so you mean MORE pics right?

wow, very nice cannon. I like how simple it looks on the outside and it's still extremely powerful. Great job, although if that Y is dwv then that could be a problem.

Looks nice yes.
@ the guys above concerning the Y
Isnt the Y unpressurized and just open to the air?
Like being some sort of stock?
Im not of that sure but just a thought.

Yup ur right psycix its just a stock so i can aim it better it also helps direct the pilot airflow away from my face.

Looks good. That's the first pilot assembly I've seen like that. Extremely simple, but how stiff is the ball valve?
Also, I think you put that Y on there just to see peoples reactions.

I've thought about building a pressure rated pneumatic and sleeving it in a DWV "shell" before just to see what people would say.

So would a 1.5 in coax be as powerful and a barrel or chamber sealing?

by psycix
Yes
A coax will be as powerful as any other barrel-sealer in the same dimensions.
Im not sure about chamber sealers but the difference isnt that big.
