Start to a 2in piston valve

Okay well this is the beggining to my new piston valve.The piston is one of those airsoft bb speed loaders(fits perfectly in the middle of a two inch tee)that I filled with hot glue.The sealing face is some neophrene I found as a handle on my dads broken rake.I got a plug and cut it down to give the piston some sliding room.I threaded a 1/2in closed nipple into it and attached a tee to that.I plan on exausting it from a 1/2in ball valve.About twenty minutes ago I tryed to glue some of the peices together and ended up messing up the tee.I pushed the barrel through to far and I couldnt get it back out with any of the tools in my reach so I go and look for a better one when I come back 30sec later it has already dryed 
I hate quick drying cement.Any suggestion/comments are greatly appretiated as I would like this to be fast opening, high flow, Effecient, and reliable.
