I'm looking to get this shock pump and was wondering if it would attach to a normal schrader valve?

it should, practically all shock pumps I've seen screw on to schraders.

Thanks JSR. Now I can take my copper pneumatic up to high pressures without braking my bike pump every time i try to fill it up.

yeah i have that exact one, it screws right onto shrader valves.

depends how big your chamber is, if it's bigger than a couple of cubic inches then going beyond 250 psi becomes a bit of a chore.

I was going to use the shock pump to top it off to higher pressures. Chamber is only ~4-5 cubic inches. As off right now i can get it up to roughly 200 psi or more with a bike pump. Gauge goes to 160 psi but i can still pump it 5-6 more times and each pump puts between 15-20 psi in.

Edit: HDP how hard is it to pump at higher pressure like between 300-400 psi?

It's a bit of an effort but it usually doesn't take me more than 2 minutes to reach 400 psi.

Why not build your own pump?
I hear BTB has a good design for you.
Should at least go up to 79.9 bar.... :D

I would but i can't locally find a pressure gauge that goes past 200psi. I just found one on ebay that goes to 600psi for only $10. Now to find some hose that can withstand up to 600psi and has an i.d. of i think 1/4" so i can attach a screw on valve depressor.

I'm thinking of shnaffling the schrader connector off the hose on my shock pump.

It vents the hose before releasing and is a nice solid screw-on one.

Looks like a 3-4mm hose tail crimped into the hose though and the compressor hose I've found doesn't have an ID that small :?

Pressure washers have gauges that go up to 1000 to 2000+pressures....I think they can be used on cannons????

I mean 1000 to 2000 + psi

yes but tht is pressure with water. so 2,000 psi air would need a much better seal on the pressure washur gun. and would need a lot of modding.

Most pressure washer bits won't seal at their rated pressure with gases. I found out the hard way

Still eating at you isn't it! Don't worry, i am sure that you will find a good way to use your immense power (pressure). :P
