First serious attempt at sniper.
This is my first real attempt at a sniper and as such I heavily "borrowed" a few ideas and designs of this site.
My dream is to build a 300psi+ sniper rifle out of steel and or copper. At the moment my pvc 100psi sniper rifle will have to do.
It aint much to look at but it is a start :) It is as accurate as the person holding it which in my case is terrible but I will let the pictures tell the story
Musket loading with no real way to stop the marble rolling out of the barrel besides the hop up at the front
*Chamber is 25mm pressure rated pvc water pipe 57cm long
*Barrel is 20mm(inside diameter 15.5mm) electrical conduit 74cm long
*Scope is the cheapest Tasco scope I could buy.
*Laser is cheap
*Torch is Led Lenser 1W LED torch which is surprisingly powerful.
*Sprinkler valve was a freebie and have no idea what brand but it honks nicely
*Shoots at 70psi mostly with a hand pump which takes about 20 pumps to get it up to 70psi
*Shoots at 100psi from a compressor as that is my self imposed limit.
*All this is for my experience to build something like "CHAOS"(hopefully)

Lets see some photos. No video as I can't be bothered  [/code]

Very nice effort, ah who owns that shed?
The scope really sets it off, pity it isn't sighted yet!

Thats a nice looking gun mate, good first job. The honking I would think would be because of your very small chamber size. Not enough air goes through the valve to push the diaphram in it all the way back, so as a result, it batters against the mould of the valve and creates that noise. That would be my guess anyway.

Best of luck and keep up the good work.

Shed is ours. It holds fertilizer and gardening stuff. Hell.we don't even bother locking it. A few dents won't hurt it :P....well,except for marbles.
