i am building my second pneumatic and i am planning now i have decided on a 25mm sprinkler valve but i have looked at a fair few cannons and they all seem to have that green sprinkler valve.
i live in Australia and cannot find the green one but i found a black one and i am wondering if it will work.
Thank you

Well, first of all, Dont post your topic here, this is for finished cannons, this needs to go into disscusions but owell.
Second, i'm an aussie to, i just recently brought a black 25mm sprinkler valve and i'm testing it tommorow, just modded it for more flow and expoxied/arildited it, and the glue is drying. But i also have a Dark Greenish coloured one, which i found at my local bunnings warehouse store, i also found the black one at bunnings. There is a few ways to mod them, i'm sure if you search on here, using the quick search you will find some of the threads allready made.
Hope this Helps,

A sprinkler valve can work even if you paint it pink with little yellow flowers.
It's not the colour that counts, but that it's pressure rated to the pressure you intend to use and fits the barrel and chamber pipe you were planning for your launcher.

yer im Aussie too and my first sprinkler valve was a black one too that one had a guide rod in it so if yours does mod it the way you would on the green ones but insted of putting the blowgun or hose barb on to of it, put it to the side on the top cap thingo
