Okay so this is my most piston gun that I just finished today.
It is not my first I have made quite a few others but this one is my favorite so far since it is so nice to hold.
I named it the pg beacase it is a pg(piston gun)

I dont know the power yet Im waiting for the glue to dry Ill put up some damage pics up tomorrow when the glue is dry.
It costed a lot more than expected I expected something like $20(already had the sprinkler) but it costed $30 still not alot by spudgun standards but it is a lot to me off my 8 buck a week salary.
I dont mean to brag or any thing but check out my priming job I dont think there is a single stain. I have always done a pretty good job on priming but this is definatly my beat priming job yet.Im done bragging.

the specs
Chamber:2ft of 2in pipe
Valve:1.5in piston valve with a 1in porting piloted by a 3/4in sprinkler
Piston:1.25in pvc dremeled down to fit in 1.5in pipe
Barrel:I dont know yet I havent bought it yet

Pics

the gun(I know the pilot volume is unessecarily large)

I really is nice to hold

Update impressive damage shot and added a golf ball barrel and replaced the ball valve with a 1/2in plug.

The gun with the barrel on
Image

I shot at a 2 by 4 at 100psi with a golf ball
recoil knocked it off the chair it was standing on
Image

I got a lot of splinters trying to put the peices of it back together for this photo.

...a lot to me off my 8 buck a week salary.
lol, you make it sound like you have a job. For $8 a week, I'm guessing its allowance.

EDIT: oh, and btw...very nice gun for $30 bucks.. It would cost me that just to get the sprinkler valve + gas.

Looks clean. I've never actually got around to making a fully operational large scale piston valve, and my 3/4" porting steel barrel sealer was just recycled as parts for a 2" porting TBD valve.

JSR's going to have a heart attack when he sees that pilot volume though...

On an unrelated note, you really need to do something about that $8/week "salary" of yours. There are always ways to make some easy money if you put some thought into it. With some creative setup I made a profit of $200 on a lemonade stand in 1 day. Of course, I now have a job, which pays better (and is significantly more legal) than my former ventures.

You would be right there every now and then I do some extra work and up that to $13 a week.

DYI:I dont think JSR will like the extra pilot volume very much eighther but I wanted a gun that was nice to hold and thats what I got.

Edit:Dont ask what the ball valve is for.

I got my job when I was 14. Lots of my friends got jobs when they were 13. I'm thinking that you're just a procrastinator, and your desire for money hasn't quite overcome your laziness yet :P

true, but you could work at a farm and get paid under the table (thats what i did at your age) if you live by one that is...

Shmanman:Okay the ball valve is there for no reason whatsoever .
it is there beacause I didnt have a 3/4in coupling to use where that tee is so I used the tee and the tee needed blocking off at the one end and I just had that conveinently and put it on it reduces to 1/2in threaded so Ill take it off next time I get to go to hardware store and get a 1/2in plug to replace it.
Happy now

Edit:god i just relized i just used one whole sentence explaining the entire thing my grammar really does suck.

DYI:Im not a procrastinatorexept in school
I dont even think you can get a job at my age where I live i think you have to be 16.

Very interesting setup. There is enough pilot volume there to add another barrel to the other end of the sprinkler valve. It looks like a nice build and must be fun to shoot.

Elitesniper:A3/4in sprinkler is overkill for a 1.5in piston so adding a little more volume wouldnt effect performance by more than a couple fps.

sthorne:Mercer Island washington it says in my profile

Origin unknown: did you steal that second barrel idea from me since Im sure Ive metioned it and iv done it before.
Or did you just come up with it yourself

hahaha! Mercer Island! Tell your parents they are being cheap and to give you a raise in your allowance. The wax job on their Mercedes costs them more a week!
