I just realised that I'm having to much fun reading and posting questions and answers in the forum and I'm not working on the cannon.

OK. one more question..hehe

I was initially planning to add a breech loader, but now I'm wondering if I want to ruin the clean look of the cannon. Also I have been using greased patches and If I had a breech loader the patch would have to be pushed in backwards. I wonder if that would matter at all? I already have to part I need to make the breech loader.... its a toss up for me. What do you guys think?

If you use a projectile that could benefit from a breech-loader, more then a projectile that wont benefit from one, make a breech-loader.

An easy breech loader is to just get a PVC ball valve the same size as the barrel, glue it on, and drill a hole in the side, so when you turn the valve it opens up the side, you drop your spherical projectile in, close the valve and that blocks of the side and the projectile is now facing the barrle.

The inside of ball valves aren't exactly the same diameter as the pipe that fits them though, you'd have to get a bigger ball valve, and glue the barrel sized pipe into the ball valve.

Because your original one wasn't descriptive enough.
