I did the calculations, I'm not sure if they are right, math is NOT my subject. I want to make sure my rations are right before I build my gun.

I'm using a 2.5" barrel that is 60" long
I'm using a 4" barrel that is 42" long

I got 1.7:1 as an answer. Is it correct? and is this good ratio for a pneumatic. please do not rag on me saying use search, I did. I'm no good at math.

Thank you

Did you mean to use the 4" as the air tank? If so you are closer to 1.8/1, actually 1.792/1.

do you mean the 4in is your air tank if so then
it is 1.872 so you were pretty close.

Uhhh Bigbob, did you round off some numbers? Using the full floating point capability of the Windows Calculator and deeply accurate pi, I came up with 1.792, significantly different than your number.
