best tank to barrel ratio for nerfs?

I did a search, but I could not find any threads about the best chamber to barrel ratio for launching 2" nerf vortex rockets.

my current setup is 70 ci tank 68ci barrel. 1" sprinkler, 80psi.

the barrel is 22", and the tank is a 3"x10", in an AT-4 style housing.
I cant make it any longer, so if I add barrel, I have to shorten the tank, or vice versa.

can I get more performance by changing barrel or tank length?

With that size of chamber you can easily increase barrel length to 50" and get significantly greater power.

So I should shrink the chamber and add barrel?

I tried GGDT, and it keeps telling me I need waay more chamber than barrel, which I dont think is correct. I havent a clue on the valve settings.

can someone optimize my lengths for me?

I have 2" barrel 3" chamber, and 32" combined barrel/chamber length.
1" modded sprinkler. projectile is 30G.

thanks in advance.

Ah, I get what you're trying to say now, I hadn't read your post correctly - I'll have a play with GGDT when I get home.

Keeping a maximum overall length of 32", the highest energy ranges I got were between 7-12 inches of chamber length, so you have it pretty much spot on as it is :)

Higher Volume tank. Lower Pressure will help your accuracy with the nerfs..
