sprinkler valve

i would like to know how to find out whether it has a guide rod or not, since i will be making my first sprinkler valve pnue.

orbit watermasters do not have guide rods.

The same i have. Simple to mod, but dont over enlarge the blowgun valve hole, the spring won't have any room

If it does have a guide rod, lots of people just drill next to it when modding.
