What size or type of pipe ABS, PVC or Conduit fits lacrosse balls the best. And what is the difficulty of finding one of them?

im not sure but I think 2.5in pvc fits them but again Im not sure

According to this, those things are about 2.5 inches in diameter. They also weigh about 5 ounces (sweet).

then they are a little to big because 2.5in sch40 has an id of 2.445 but you might be able to sqeeze it in there.

3 inch with wadding? Those things won't squeeze well, and they hurt like a SOB I got nailed in the jaw with one literally from a bounce and man did that kill.

if you think that would create a lot of recoil then you should try and fire some 2in solid steel ammo weighing 10lbs out of a powerful launcher and you will never think of kick the same way again(launched out of the KAMG didnt go far or fast but it blew itself out of my hands and back 5ft and this is with a heavy metal gun a light pvc would be a different story.

and to fit the lacrosse balls maybey 2.5in thinwall would work but again Im not sure.

They seem similar to a Lacrosse ball, slightly heavier though

Yes cricket balls would work well but they would hard to get hold of in the us as cricket isnt really played here

I actually think I have a cricket ball lying around in the garage ill see if it fits 2.5in pipe when i get some as it asnt avaiable around here.

Sweet, i've always wanted to know if it would fit in 2.5" pipe. Which is pretty non-existant here.

Still costs about $15NZD here for a shity Grey-Nichols ball, which is the bad of the bad, so no distance shots if I ever find a barrel that fits.

Tommorow i am going to lowes and might stop by the electrical section and see if it fits in some 2.5in electrical pipe but Im not sure it has the same id as sch40. Ill go look it up

Electrical 2.5in has an id of 2.44in close enough for me.
i guess ill bring along the cricket ball tommorow.

Recoil is going to be based purely on the amount of mass and its velocity being projected. 5 ounces isn't going to be producing world record recoil out of normal spud flinging machines.
