After the pain of setting up the site dealing with transactions, and shipping the aluminum foil I doubt it. Who would buy cut aluminum foil?,maybe you want to do other materials, and that might work, but I still doubt it.

people who don't want to cut large quantities of burst disks 100 for 6 bucks seems reasonable this is just a thought.

Before you set it up you have to find out how much burst disk will come from one roll or aluminum or else you will just be wasting money, nice thought though, however there are not many people who use burst disk on this website, also you would have to make burst disk for different size unions :)

6 dollars for 100 don't sound to bad. They would have to be good uniform/well made no mistakes.

Yes but it takes time and with the pace of the world now people don't like to take up their time making burst disks instead of taking up their time fireing cannons :) .

They have large disks of aluminum or steel that they use for roofing. The name escapes me now but then are very thin gage metal and might work well for a high pressure burst disk... but they are generally 2.5 inches in diameter... if your looking for cheap pre made disks try those

those thing would probably cost just as much as a full roll of alluminum foil and you can layer alluminum foil.

They are just a few cents a piece and yes you could layer them. They are called roof tins and the sell them by the pound...most hardware stores would have them as they are a fairly common item... since they are already perfectly round you don't have to layer them just slip then in the union... No idea what PSI they would burst at but its and idea...

i hate to say this, but cup cake holders make excellent burst disks for 2'' pipe. they are already shaped and are only a dollar or two for 32.

selling burst disks really isnt a good way to make money. i think you are just setting your self up for disappointment. you would make far more money mowing lawns and washing cars... not to mention you would spend countless hours making burst disks.
