As you can probably tell I haven't posted any cannons i have made or attempted. This is because i get halfway through a project, then make some cooler idea. This has been going on for 4 months!!!! I am planning to stick to one project and one only until i get it done. I have been deciding if i should make a semi auto airsoft gun or a 5 shot burst .177 bb gun that will be used in the 200-300 psi region with inspiration from JSR's HP burst fire BBMG. I have been switching from each idea getting parts for each but cannot finish both so i will have to choose one. any feedback?

The thing is, the coolness factor of a semi auto would be cool, but i have airsoft guns so plinking wouldnt be as much fun. i have never made anything with power, but whatever, if every one says semi, its going to be semi :)

I agree with BigBob, go with the half-auto, much more practical than burst fire, and if you’ve already got Airsoft BBs that means you don’t have to buy special ammo

Even though i do have .177 bbs, maybe i should go for which one is easiest. I have a few semi designs but i have no experience with these things, and that is why i am a little nervous. I am building a wooden stock right now, and it just needs some more work and then i can build the business part of it.

If it was a 3 round burst, i would prefer it. Any more would lose the special touch.

Anyone else have a preference? I am still open to votes...
