new posts since last visit

what is wrong with this, sometimes when I come to this site, it says 4 new posts and 3 new topics (not necessarily that amount) and I click on the numbers and it says there are no posts that fit the description.

Did this JUST happen?

If so I was making a bunch of new threads in a testing area which only I can see. When I do that, it detects the new threads and such but when you click on the number to see them it says that no posts fit the description because you aren't allowed to view them.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).
