hey I have some air tanks but i can't get the regulator off. the tanks hold 2000 psi and the regulator is just to hard to turn off. do you have any ideas on how to get it off.

make sure the tank valve is off before you try to take off the regulator. then bleed the lines/ regulator and use an adjustable open end wrench to unscrew it.
thats what i was taught to do in my welding class. it what the book ways. it says to use a 15'' wrench, any adjustable wrench will work.
ps- an "adjustable open end wrench" is the offical term for a crescent wrench. crescent is just the company that makes them, not the actual name of the tool.
its like calling a hammer made in china a "china hammer"

What kind of "air" tanks are they? Are they scuba tanks, hpa or ?
2000psi seems low for an air tank.
Maybe a picture?
But for now;
Some tanks have left hand thread for the regulator attachment.
You should be able to see a few threads if you look carefully, make sure you are turning it the correct way.
