what to do with air tank
After getting off the regulator I am trying to decide what to do with this tank. It has a max psi of 2000. I am thinking about using it as a hybrid chamber. do you think I can go to 10X.
it is a 1in npt hole

Oh so a very large tank
That small porting will be an annoyence as it will really constrict flow no matter what you do.
I dont think it would be worth it to make a hybrid out of it because the power would be so limited. So I say you make a simple burst disk high pressure pnuematic.
But most people would say to make a piston valve instead.

I think you should make a high pressure pneumatic burst disc, since the tank has a high rating. If you made it a sprinkler valve gun it wouldn't be using this thing to it's full potential.
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.
Unless you got an all metal sprinkler valve that can handle high pressures.potatoflinger wrote:I think you should make a high pressure pneumatic burst disc, since the tank has a high rating. If you made it a sprinkler valve gun it wouldn't be using this thing to it's full potential.
I just made a huge hybrid with it
. I just have to add the ignition and paint it.
