Completed Sniper Rifle

Hey, im finally finished with this gun. It works quite well and is very ergonomic. Most of it is pretty self explanitory. The schrader valve setup is all threaded- no epoxy! The stock was designed w/ safety in mind so its mostly 2 layered with both pipe and slip over it. The valve is a 1" watermaster piloted by a .25"ball valve. I like the scope, its slightly impractical, but i still do use it and it does help, it's also easily removable. The barrel is 3/4" cpvc that slides through 1" and is pressed into the neoprene washer behind it when sealed- making it breech loading (not fully my design tho.) I do get some pretty good shots out this gun. Its good with baby carrots, paintballs, or small tabasco bottles. I can also easily remove the barrel and scope and put on either a marble rifle or a 1.5" potato/ ping pong ball one. It also has a foldable bipod, and lense caps for the scope. The only improvement id like to make is to give it a .25" qev in place of the 90 deg elbow. Id still keep the ball valve, but, this would just give me a bit more oomph and much more consistent shots. ask questions if you like.

Thats a very nice looking sniper there. Excellent idea to layer the stock for a little extra protection. The scope also looks really, really nice.

wait... ive got a question. sorry, i dont feel like starting up another thread. I was planning to order a .25 qev to pilot the sprinkler. However, im not sure if itd work, ive never touched a qev before. conventionally, one pilots a qev from the same port that it is filled. will the qev seal if it is filled from the sprinkler and piloted by the ball valve. If you cant follow what im describing... will it be possible for me to incorporate a qev into this setup?

Depends on the specific QEV, some can take filling from the "out" port (which would connect to the sprinkler), but most of the QEVs I have seen cannot be filled from that port. You could either modify the QEV (cut an equalization hole and add a spring) or you could rework your plumbing so that you can fill from behind the QEV.
