Well this is just a little plinker i threw together a couple days ago.
It isnt very poweful, but its still powerful enough to be fun to mess around with.

And here it is



As you see there is nothing special about it, its just a simple pneumatic with a sprinkler valve.

Specs

Chamber: 1.5in by 12in sch40pvc
Barrel: probably about 4.5ft of 3/4in sch40pvc
Valve:Modded 1in orbit sprinkler valve

sweet, my question is, will sprinkler valve (3/4" or 1") work with threaded sched 40 adaptors of the same size? (i'm thinking about what to do for my first pneumatic, so far i've made 4 combustions)

Keeping busy I see BB. Effective cannon you have there. This is a good example of a gun that beginners could easily build. Nice job keeping the purple primer in check. Although next time use the Oatey cleaner in the yellow can...it's the same stuff, just without the purple dye.

Carlman: yeah its back to the basics
I usually build a piston valve or use a burst disk for the main valve but I didnt feel like doing that for this one.

And Ill get a can of cleaner when this one runs out, I dont really mind the purple as long as there arnt stains all over the place. Im generally pretty good at priming cleanly.

Nice plinker but don't you hate those gauges?

They're always off centre (as seen in the picture) and bent slightly upwards. I picked up several from my American tour, they work well and go to 300psi but look like crap.

Yeah I do hate them, they rattle when you shake them and yes they look horrible.
I would have gotten a better one but it was cheap, very cheap.

Although I am not really impressed with the power of this gun, and prefer my slightly larger plinkers(such as my hybrid, or SPVMBR)
