help with a pen gun piston

i am making a pen gun like jsr but everytime i try to make a piston gun it does not seal properly and all the air goes out the barrel while i try to pump it. does anybody know how to make a good piston for a pen gun and also i would like to know what i could use for a barrel.

As to barrel material, check out your local hobby store - they should have a selection of brass and aluminium tubing of various diameters. If not, you can order such materials online.

wow, more people are getting into the pen gun thing
, I think you should try making some larger scale coaxial pistons so you can have a bit of experience on this thing, small things like the pen gun are very hard to have everything go right for you, and everything is sealed in already once you make it.
