The barrel is 2 inch sleeve to fit golf balls. 1 inch modified sprinkler valve from BC Arms and the stock is 1.5 inch. i still need to add a micro air guage.
Finally shot it, the valve would not seal up so i had to remove the spring and now it works fine. it launches balls way out there, fun to shoot.

looks good. how long did it take you to sleeve that barrel lol.

ya buddy it was not fun. about 30 minutes, it was actually twice the length but i cut it down for this gun.

Yeah I did one of those too...about 4' long. Geeze my son and I worked hard manhandling and coercing that slit 2" piece into that 2" sleeve. Lots of squeezing and lots of pounding and heating. Those barrels work ok but aren't as nice as a sched 80 sleeved SDR 21...the perverbial cats meow...

Too bad SDR 21 is so difficult to find.

Nice job on the gun BTW. Has sort of a sawed off look to it.

What size and how much are you looking for? There is a Home Depotin Sydney and they usually carry small 2' sections of 3" and 4" pressure rated PVC. All the 2" and below pipe they sell should be pressure rated.

If they don't carry what you need, look in your yellow pages (assume you have those in Canada) under plumbing suppliers. Call one of them and just ask them. If they don't have it, more than likely they will know who will.

I've been working on an inch and halfer similar.
There's no pressure rated 2" fittings in the Home Depot near me.
I've thought of randomly asking plumbers when I see their work vans.

I plan on building two, strapped together for double barrel.
And leave the coupling unglued to the barrel for the break-action (Like goathunter's or BTB's).
I plan on being able to seperate it into two seperate cannons also.
Very versatile design (also has threaded coupling in chamber for shorter). I only have half almost done so far.

I was thinking you could do something similar with that one. The valve could be rotated 90 for better clearance if you did. 8)

hmm...... whats the power/accuracy your getting out of that gun. Ive always wanted to make a HUGE golfball gun thats "sniper" style..... lol.

anyway, that gun looks great. id image the recoil is pretty harsh....

i havent shot it yet, waiting for the glue to dry. about the double barrel, check flexpvc.com for a double adapter that would work perfect for ya.

Recoil is based on the mass and velocity of the projectile....you know, the equal and opposite reaction thing. A golfball shot with this level of gun will produce a noticable little bump in your hands but nothing to write home about.

Start shooting some heavier projectiles, cans of veggies, frozen water bottles, etc, then you're talking some recoil.

i have to say something on that starman (look at my avatar ) as heavy as larda is it kicks back with a golfball at 150psi.

but with 1kg lead slugs it is a different story.
