Twin chamber Gun project help

Hey guys, im not new here, just a new name. Been a while forgot what my old name was. i think it was jfd140 or something iuno.
Anyway, i gave up building launchers for a bit and yesterday i strolled through my garage and noticed my 4" pipe and fittings all lonely in the dust pile.
I had started this project a while ago and never finished it.
The launcher is a simple concept, two chambers, 4" pipe by 3 feet roughly, with a 4x2 bushing on one end and a cap at the other. The chambers will be linked to one another to make 1 chamber out of the 2. And ultimately 2 valves will release into a 2" barrel with a camlock on it for quick connecting.
So, heres where i stand. I have both tanks made up, with a cap on one end and a 4x2 bushing on the other. What i have bought for valves is a pair of orbit watermaster 1" valves. I am fully aware that these valves can not possibly dumb the air stored in both tanks efficiently.
So heres my question
Is it that stupid to use the watermasters?
How hard would it be to make my own piston valve, i remember giving it a shot once but giving up after hot glue piston was epic fail.
Is there a good full guide out there to making one? I have been gone a long time.
AND ultimately i want the gun to be electronically trigged, so im gonna be using the watermasters somewhere. Electronic in my eyes is safer so i want it electronic. And missle arming switch with light up fire button is just worth it.
