I am asking why put a blow gun on a sprinkler valve or a battery system to open it?

i have one, i just actuate the little black lever and its open really fast, making KA-BOOM.

it may seem fast to you, but in terms of the split second that it takes the projectile to leave the barrel it actually takes a while. A blow gun will greatly increase performance, though how much depends on the mass of the projectile. The heavier your ammo the less difference it will make.

Now, it may make "KA-BOOM", but with the mod, it will make "KA-BOOM".
Unless your barrel is very long, and your projectile is very heavy, the performance will greatly increase if you install an larger pilot valve.

That and you don't have to replace batteries this way.

Personally, I like battery operation because it allows me to have a safety switch, and also comes with the potential of firing off many cannons simultaneously. However, I may switch to using pneumatic mods once the cannons I am putting them on focus on performance, as opposed to simply putting something downrange (such as in the CA1 and CA3).

1- Place a ballvalve between the blowgun and the sprinkler and you will have your safety valve.
2- If you want to pilot multiple valves, you can do this with a bit of hose and a T-hose barb. For larger/a big amount of valves, you could also use larger stuff then hose, and use a sprinkler to pilot. But then you would be better of to build one piston valve instead of multiple sprinklers.

... and, electrically activated is much less likely to make the gun move. On a pneumatic that you can actually hit something with a rigidly mounted blowgun would be a terrible trigger system. Flexible hose to a blowgun would be better but the blowgun can't be attached to the gun in any other way.

Yes, if ergonomics and thus accuracy is your goal, an electric system may be better. But for raw power, you will almost always have to pilot things pneumatically.

I do not want to start a long discussion of electric vs pneumatic here, everything has its pro's and cons.
I just wanted to point out that a safety switch and multi-valve pilotting can also be done pneumatically.
Both a blowgun and a electric system have their good things over the little bleed lever method.
