will, i think about biulding a rifle with hammer valve because i am tired to pump the champer evrey shoot
so i have some question to ask
there is a rifle called airforce talon that have this mechanism the question is , in 700 psi hpa this hammer valve open time is under 0.5 seconde ,the air that come out can take the projectile the same speed that can full 60 cubic cm 700 psi champer ?
a hammer valve ??

I think you'll find that the chamber pressure used by the talon is more in the region of 3,000-1,500 psi.

No, you will not get as good of performance from a hammer valve. (I did some quick modeling in ggdt.)
You will however, (depending on your actual launcher specs) get 5 or 6 shots of about 80% what the piston valve would give you.
This will be a much more difficult piece to get working well.
Perhaps, a piston valve with a smaller chamber, separated from a larger chamber with a ball valve?
This would give simpler construction, while still giving multiple shots.
It has been discussed here before.

This is my best guess at what's being asked...MrCrowley wrote:I have no idea what the hell you are asking. Try to use proper grammar and you'll find people generally tend to reply more.
To which I think Gippeto has already given a decent answer.far_cry wrote:I am thinking about building a rifle with hammer valve because I am tired of having to pump the chamber every shot, so i have a question to ask.
There is an air rifle called an Airforce talon that has the same mechanism. The question is with 700 psi hpa and this hammer valve with an opening time under 0.5 milliseconds, will the air that comes out accelerate the projectile to the same speed as using a full 60 cubic cm 700 psi chamber? (Rag: I assume with a piston valve?)
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
