Hey guys,
Alright I've been looking for the last 3 pages of the pneumatic discussion on this topic but failed to do so. Anyway I've been trying to look for a mini compressor which I can hook up to my power point, but I just realised that these compressors don't really have initial "reservoir" and pump it's self on it's own I think.
There's an example compressor I was planning to buy for about $30. I was thinking if I should buy it and for example will it pump up a 2.25L Air Bottle / 4.5L Air bottle up to at least 90PSI.

Hrm, from what I've read, those compressors aren't really meant for repeated use and may break down pretty quickly.
May wanna just splurge and get a small one with an air tank built into it.

Those are weak, and they definitely don't last a long time. I agree with Turbo's advice

These pumps are pretty sheit. I made this gun with such a pump and a 7.2v 2.5amp battery. It looked scary and made lots of noise but didnt pump that fast. You dont reach much higher pressures then with a bike pump eg. If you are not convinced, search for a pic of the internals of the electric pump> the cylinder is tiny and the gearin is most of the times really crude. I would say that the 30bucks isnt worth it. Just a get a twostage bike pump instead.
edit:
250 psi is allot! but I expect it would take ages for such a bottle to fill up to that pressure. Thats what I get from my experience with my electric pump.

Bleh!
Dang, it looks like i'm going to have to continue using my 30 dollar steel floor pump I bought online. It can only reach 160PSI but i only charge my tank up to 100PSI.
Oh well

for free if you have a scarp yard around, easy if you have some basic tools including screwdrivers, dremels, some kind of clamp and an electricl drill.

I've got a small 12v pump made by a company called Bonneville Air that is able to fill a 5 gallon tank to 120psi. It takes just about as long to do so as my Senco 1 gal compressor, but that thing is a wuss. HOWEVER, it smells like it is burning up afterwards, and the Senco doesn't.
