Well first off, what is it? I see high pressure regulated to low pressure feeding what I think is a chamber...and then..there was nothing.

I tried to wrap my head around it too, then my brain hurted.

We need as many details as you have to help you out dude.

Welcome to Spudfiles :)

Assuming the large rectangle is your barrel, the line feeding into it looks awfully thin - what are you using as your firing valve, and what sort of performance do you expect?

Looks to me like he's trying to compress fuel before it inters the chamber??? I would move this to the combustion section, but I'm also not sure of the intent???

Please explain your idea and design. Are you trying to build a Hybird? According to the legend in your diagram, thats the idea I get???

air starts in tank. a high pressure macro line feeds into a pneumatic on off of some sort. which goes into a paintball marker regulator then into an air chamber. first on off get turned off. then there is a second on off to let air to push air out of chamber into barrel propelling object. i recently purchased a momentary switch and a solenoid. those will replace the second on off. to improve performance and consistency and making the first on off irrelevant. the air chamber will have to stay in order to reduce temperatures down to safe pvc usage.

any more questions. sorry i didnt describe it better.

You LP macro line needs to be replaced with regular plumbing. You are restricting flow to the barrel in a major way.

Check out Frankrede's smoothbore pneumaticon how to connect a HP air source and generally build a pneumatic cannon.

You still aren't very clear on what you're planning here. Chamber and barrel size, ammo, etc.

its kind of like a paintball shot gun rocket launcher type of thing? i had a friend of mine machine three delrin blocks they are circles cut in half, down the middle, and a concave cone going in and a little paintball chamber.paintballs go in side of ammo cannister. then aerodynamics force the delrin shell apart.
