Hey there, I was just wondering if anyone is using a air pressure guage with a 0-300 psi range on their cannons? I have one off a air tool which has a 1/8r thread i think and its max pressure goes to 160 psi but i'm planning to up the pressure. I'm in need of a guage that has the fitting at the back as apposed to the bottom.
Thanks in advance.

I don't recognize "1/8r thread".
Did you mean 1/8"npt? 1/8"bsp? (if there is such a thing?)
Considering this is a very international forum, it might be beneficial for you if you tell us WHERE you live, so that someone that knows, can tell you WHERE to buy.
Point made I trust?
You could try a welding supply shop for starters. The gauges on regulators are usually 1/4 npt.(North America)
Other sources might include McMaster-Carr, or Princess Auto. It depends where you are.

Such things do exist.
This is the variety I used, but it's a UK store, so don't know how much use it will be to you.
The 0-21 bar range is essentially identical to 0-300 psi.
If you're in the States, no doubt McMaster-Carr has a similar product somewhere in it's range.

Sorry i should have mentioned i'm located in sydney, Australia. I have been to the local welding supply but he doesn't have what i am looking for. I could always blank off the guage fitting on my cannon and put a different guage in the line from the pump.

I am almost sure that you haven't spent enough time searching for places that sell pneumatic equipment in AUS.... seriously.... I live in poland and I admit that it took me some time to find places selling pneumatic stuff at reasonable prices... but once you find them your life is going to get much easier...
use google it doesn't hurt and try all the possible keywords.... or if you are lazy ask members from AUS - they must have done a similar research...
BTW I got 40bar gauge from place selling
welding supplies

I'm in NZ and went to a place called ASH AIR, you guys might have it also. Seems like every company in NZ is owned by Australians these days
If you can't find one, go to a plumbing merchant, ask where you can buy small diameter brass fittings, 1/4", 1/8" etc. Where ever they tell you to look, should sell high pressure gauges.
