We have our plans and maths correct but need to find an easier system for a multi barrel firing circuit. this circuit need to fire one barrel then motor move to the next barrel then fire and keep repeating that until the last barrel is fired... then a reloading set comes......

Patent Pending on the 6BTBC (the above idea)

I don't know the patent laws in Australia, but here in the USA you have to apply for a patent before claiming patent pending status, that comes with a number for legal filing.

Please use the "rule" button at the top of this page and read the forum rules if you haven't all ready and if you have, re-read them. If you have any questions about them send a message via the PM service to any moderator and we will be happy to help you.

If you want good answers to questions you have to be more descriptive, like posting a diagram or pictures of the project.

Welcome to Spudfiles.

First of all, when you post an idea its pretty much like putting a slab of meet in shark infested waters. Whoever wants it can have it. So if your trying to create some "new" innovative cannon nobody else has created, keep it to yourself until it’s done. Although, rotary cannons have been created several times on this forum by the members. Therefore, go use the search button and find a few and look how they did it. Although, you can always go to the advanced combustion showcase and scroll through the pages one by one (that’s what I do sometimes).

If I was you, I would definitely search through the members builds and see what you can dig up. Cheers! 8)

What is your purpose of posting here in Spudfiles?... just to declare you are patenting a revolutionary 6 barrel rotary spud gun...(a man named Gatling beat you to the concept around 147 years ago)? However, if what you say is true, the last thing you want to do is actually talk about it in public. Also, it's hard to believe you would be having trouble coming up with an appropriate ignition system...you guys being so inventive and all.....

So, whoever designs the firing system for you gets royalties, right?

Besides, I think Solar did this already...I don't think his was electronic though. Oh, and it only had 1 barrel, but multiple extensions with ammo in them. I think that's the same sorta thing.

That will be enough of the flaming! I'm sure he understands the point. No need for the sarcasm, it only creates a worse problem.

Solar's cannon is pneumatic...from what I can glean from the code talking here, this seems to be a combustion.

Theres millions of different types of spud cannons all over this website and people still say they have some revolutionary ideas.. its not action that makes it special... the design is what determines it....

That's great....if you think you have a patentable idea, but all means, go for it. Just don't come here and expect us to rack our brains so that you can take the credit and the lifetime proceeds from the subsequent patent.
