First pneumatic

This is my first pneumatic cannon, and my second overall (finished) cannon. It has a 3/4" "silenced" short barrel on it in the pics, but I have a longer 3/4" barrel, a 1/2" barrel, and a 3/4" cpvc paintball barrel. Cam lock for easy barrel changes. It also has a modified 1" orbit watermaster sprinkler valve. The blowgun for the pilot is modified by filing down the internal pin and drilling out the other hole in there. The grip is made of epoxy putty and is very durable. There is a 1/8"npt 3" pipe that connects to the blowgun exhaust so it pilots through the bottom of the grip. I shot it at pressures between 150-200psi. It needs a paintjob and I want to add a front grip to it but it's quite nice as is. Its shoots through 3/4"ply and two sheets of sheet metal @ 200psi.

Nicely thought out and executed. :)

I like the cam-lock breech loading too. Why did you not thread the cam lock directly into the valve?

Nice cannon there. How are you employing the piston(?) in the last picture?

isnt 200 psi a bit much for your sprinkler valve and air chamber

For some reason My tractor supply didn't have any 1" cam locks, and there were no threaded 1" to slip 3/4" adapters at lowes, so I have that junk between the cam lock and barrel. I want to add a T to that space, so I can have a front grip. Of course id fill the grip somehow so I don't have that dead space in there.

And yeah, those are the rounds I fire. I also use wooden dowel rounds with 5/8" gaskets in the back to seal to the barrel and washers screwed into the front to stabilize the round.

Oh, and my sprinkler valve hasn't had a problem yet with many many 200psi shots. All the PVC is SCH40... The chamber is all 1.5" fittings so its double-layered mostly. And I tapped the double layered pvc for the the guage/ schrader.
